The essence of Joshi House is a creative manifestation of spatial elements. The interplay between architecture and art is a lively relationship, a complex choreography where form, utility, and beauty come together to craft an engaging and purposefully constructed space. Fundamental to this concept is the understanding that art and architecture are not distinct entities but interconnected forms of expression, mutually influencing and enhancing each other. Within this harmonious connection, architecture transforms into a platform for artistic creativity.

“Architecture is the masterly, correct, and magnificent play of masses brought together in light.” – Le Corbusier

The exterior embodies a meticulous exploration of balance and proportion, where each element is thoughtfully examined to enhance the overall harmony of the design. The incorporation of geometric volumes introduces rhythm and visual cohesion, transforming the entire residence into a symphony of form and function. Prioritizing the removal of unnecessary embellishments, the house aspires to achieve a timeless elegance that transcends passing trends. The outcome is a home where unadorned masses stand as a testament to modern design principles, celebrating a deliberate aesthetic that blurs the lines between art and architecture.

The distinct volumes, positioned in a harmonious juxtaposition, craft the illusion of the cantilevered circular structure seemingly hanging in the air, with only its surface delicately meeting the adjoining volume. This circular element, serving as an alfresco living area in the guise of a balcony, emerges prominently as a captivating focal feature. The configuration of these volumes, the interplay of light, and the skillful adjustment of scale collaborate to guide inhabitants through a choreographed journey, erasing the lines that traditionally separate artistic expression from pragmatic design.

Inside the living room, the circular volume finds reflection as it metamorphoses into a floor pattern adorned with a conspicuous yellow circle. This clever integration seamlessly links the living, dining, and kitchen zones, not only visually uniting these areas but also fostering a unified flow. Extending beyond the interior, the yellow circle unfolds into an outdoor deck, gracefully expanding the living space into the open air. The selection of a yellow circle stone flooring not only amplifies a warm ambiance but also imparts a gentle radiance, enriching the space with subtle luminosity.
